Najmaa was born from a simple belief: protection can be structured in a way that better reflects the values of the people it serves. We wanted an approach grounded in responsibility, transparency, and people. So we built a mutual, designed with people in mind.
Born From Frustration, Built on Hope
We are people, just like you. For years, we relied on insurance despite knowing it did not align with our values – because we believed there was no real alternative. After years of researching, we discovered Takaful: a mutual model rooted in the way people historically supported one another through hardship. It reminded us that protection could be built on people caring for people. And that’s why we built Najmaa – not as an insurance company, but as a discretionary mutual grounded in the principles of Takaful, shared responsibility, and mutual support.
Broader Impact
Najmaa believes protection should contribute to broader positive impact. That’s why any surplus in Najmaa may be applied for the benefit of the mutual and the wider community in line with the mutual model.
