Protection Products – Wakala Model
- Najmaa offers vehicle protection through a Shariah-compliant model based on mutual assistance (ta’awun).
- When you join, you make a Contribution on a donation (tabarru) basis to support the operation of the arrangement.
- Najmaa acts as the Wakeel (agent) and manages the day-to-day operation of the arrangement in line with its Constitution and governance framework.
- If an incident happens, you can make a claim (request for support). The Board considers each request based on the circumstances and decides whether support will be provided.

Mufti Yousuf Sultan
Shariah Scholar
Dr Mufti Yousuf Sultan is an experienced professional in Islamic finance with over 15 years of experience in Shariah advisory, consultancy, audit and training. He holds a CSAA from AAOIFI, aCIFE from Ethica, a PhD and MSc in Islamic Finance from INCEIF, and a Mufti degree in Islamic jurisprudence. He is also a registered Shariah adviser with the Securities Commission of Malaysia and Labuan Financial Services Authority. He is a member of several Shariah committees globally, including Standard Chartered Saadiq Malaysia.
As the Founder and CEO of Adl Advisory, a Malaysia-based firm that provides shariah advisory, consultancy, and training services, Dr Yousuf is passionate about promoting and innovating Islamic finance through technology. He also co-founded IFA Consultancy, a Bangladesh-based firm that offers Islamic finance education and consultancy. Dr Yousuf is a recognised speaker and Shariah adviser in various markets and platforms, such as AAOIFI, CIBAFI, INCEIF, ASAS, World Bank, Cagamas, Bangsamoro Government, and Nadil Iqtisad Kuwait. He is a member of working groups at AAOIFI and holds professional memberships with Association of Shariah Advisors (ASAS), Chartered Institute of Islamic Finance (CIIF), and Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (ICDM).
Dr Yousuf is a visiting lecturer at University Sains Islam Malaysia. He has authored several research reports on Islamic finance, including a co-authored paper on Ethical finance and Islamic finance with Tan Sri Dr. Zeti, the former Governor of the Central Bank of Malaysia. In 2023, he received the prestigious INCEIF President Award as the top student from INCEIF University and the BAFF Award for his contributions to the Islamic finance industry in Bangladesh.

Mohamad Mishal
Head of Shariah
Mohamad has extensive experience across Canada, South Africa, Malaysia, Turkey, Oman, and Indonesia. He specialises in Islamic finance research, product structuring, and training, with a track record in developing Shariah-compliant solutions such as Takaful conversions, Islamic term financing, blockchain-based instruments, and crowdfunding models. His work also spans Islamic social finance, including Zakat, charity crowdfunding, Wasiyyah, and hibah initiatives.

Abdullah Zubayr
Shariah Audit Executive
Abdullah Zubayr is a Shariah Reviewer with extensive experience in evaluating and structuring a wide range of Shariah-compliant business products. His review portfolio includes equity funds, debt funds, specialised Takaful models such as device extended warranty services, mutual funds, Takaful protection plans, Shariah-compliant crypto staking solutions, Will solutions, and fiat and crypto payment gateways. He has worked on projects across diverse regions, including Australia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, South Africa, Malaysia, and more. In addition to product review, Abdullah has significant Shariah audit experience covering investment funds, investment banks, medical Takaful schemes, government investment authorities, and Shariah-compliant home financing—particularly in the Middle East and the United States.
Academically, he has completed Takhassus in Ifta, Usul al-Fiqh, and Fiqh al-Muamalat, and holds the Certified Shariah Adviser and Auditor (CSAA) credential from AAOIFI, Bahrain. His combined expertise in Shariah scholarship and practical financial auditing enables him to bridge traditional Islamic jurisprudence with modern financial innovations.
